GABA tea is a natural health-promoting tea, produced through anaerobic fermentation,
which allows the tea leaves to produce high levels of γ-aminobutyric acid (GABA).
GABA is considered a natural tranquilizer.
It is fresh, sweet, and refreshing, with low caffeine, stress-relieving, and health-boosting properties.
It helps promote sleep, calms the mind,
and aids in alcohol metabolism and regulating the sympathetic nervous system, providing stress relief and relaxation after drinking.
Research by the Taiwan Tea Experiment Station shows that high-altitude tea leaves
can convert to higher levels of GABA.
Zijinyuan's GABA tea, made from high-altitude tea leaves,
not only has a high GABA content but also a mellow and smooth taste.
The tea leaves must have a GABA content exceeding 150 ppm to be called "GABA TEA."
GABA tea is a natural tea product that contains Gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA). Research conducted by Dr. Tsushida since1987 indicates that fresh tea under anoxic fermentation for a long time produces high amounts of this particular amino acid.
Studies also indicate that GABA tea has a regulatory effect on the sympathetic nervous system, thus becoming known as a natural tranquilizer. These are properties that are ‘naturally’ good for one’s health.
